what's special about this tea?

imageTea Taster

Grown in China, this genuine white tea is made from the freshest tea buds of the season. They are plucked within two hours of sprouting, then left to lay in the sun. If your usual white tea appears green in your cup, then it’s probably a green tea; this, however, is the genuine white tea article. Possibly one of our most exclusive teas - refreshing, light and aromatic.

how does it taste?
Refreshing, light and aromatic – think peaches and apricots. Very pure. We have chosen to bring you genuine white rather than green tea masquerading as white tea. If your white tea looks green in the cup, then it is green tea - watch out for fakes.
good if you're feeling
Impure of thought, word or deed. Forget the rosary and the Hail Marys – redeem yourself with a cup of this gorgeous white tea, crammed full of antioxidants.

Light and delicious

Really nice white tea (at least as far as bagged tea goes), very pleasant flavour and if you're brewing in a mug, the bag can be re-steeped for your second brew. As with most good white teas, leaving it to brew for "too long" doesn't result in a bitter flavour, it remains light and fresh regardless of brewtime.
If you're a fan of white tea (or a fan of green tea who's never tried white) I thoroughly recommend this.

A refreshing start to the day !

I really enjoy this light and fresh tea in the morning. I found that my habitual cuppa of black tea is now too strong for my taste. This white tea also has the advantage off having antioxidants and is the best value for whole leaf tea... I did try an organic brand but it was just bags of dust with a bitter taste (and very cheap for white tea) Teapigs is the best !!!
I decided to buy a subscription today but had to buy the tea temple packs instead of the usual loose tea packs - I am wondering why the loose tea packs are not there, will they be back ? Is it because the loose tea packs aren't recyclable?

Delish!

I find most white teas either extremely bland or ludicrously expensive (or both!). This one sticks out as having one of the most rich, peachy flavour profiles at a fraction of the price of the higher-end “silver needles”. Definitely worth having around for those random cravings for lush, subtle teas.

Tea school find

I did the tea school online and absolutely fell in love with this tea. I don’t like black tea as it’s just a bit too strong for me. This is really lovely. I really enjoy it, only issue is how much I drink a day 😂

Too delicate for me

Whilst I would say that this tasted clean and refreshing, I would have preferred something with more flavour. Couldn’t really discern much taste.
